I don't understand why men pay for sex these days.

This is just a guess, but power. And degeneracy, "powerful" people want to feel they rule over others.

It's a transaction to them. People with this level of money require certain transactions to include privacy and quality. There is a reason we'll never see the Epstein black book.

A few weird people needing that, I understand. But why would so many apparently functioning and successful adult men not be able to find/be satisfied in a committed relationship or at least with a mistress?

Agree-transactional, unethical types like our favorite pharma shills. Would shtup their own mothers.

A committed relationship won't provide steam-on-demand and is wildly inefficient. All in, even a mistress will "cost" these men infinitely more than $350-600/hour a few hours a month or year.

And women might try to be real people while still playing whore-on-call for their men, but that is, uh, unsustainable.

there is that nurse (was she from Virginia?) who is running for office and had a site where she had sex. I don't know if she is still on the ballot, but IMO she should be removed

I'd guess that most of them are in committed relationships. They are looking for EXCITEMENT and they have the money to pay for it. This story is especially titillating because of the 'high value' targets. The women have their own motivations, all of them. The wives, mistresses and playthings.

None of this is complicated and it has been taking place since the dawn of time. Remove what one may consider 'morals' when attempting to assess situations like this and focus on reality.

Seeking pleasure and avoiding pain is what drives human nature. Secrecy makes it more desirable.

Perhaps. Or perhaps it’s boredom, lack of purpose, or general dissatisfaction with life. Dopamine spill opportunities are so abundant that perhaps some people need to go beyond what others consider normal to feel anything.

They do for the same reason they have for thousands of years.

In nearly all mammals the male drive for sex is the most powerful and basic drive, only abated when physical threatened due to danger or lack of sustenance or now days environmental damage decreasing testosterone.

In nearly all situations there is a form of paying involved.

These days? One way or another but men always need to pay.

Professor - You are correct, any ID requirement is a blackmailing operation, much like Epstein's note business.... https://youtu.be/JfRkHdmb_iQ?

until 2 months ago I could get youtube without ads. Suddenly, ads appeared again, and several of them ad ads for pretty young girls from asia. youtube and google both advertize girls. I thought that was against the law. I avoid youtube now, but for some of my subscriptions, there is no other way to follow them (farming, crochet, travel programs). I have tried several ad blocks but google blocks my ad blockers. There are even indecent ads on the Necrology Canada site. When you look up someone who passed away, there is an ad cutting in for viagra, for girls, for meds - you name it. I think this is a total disgrace. What has the world come to? (I just read an article that Kennedy was at the Epstein place just like all the other crap running for office-seems like no exceptions left)

All big social media companies use ad network algorithms don't filter or care about the ads they serve.

You can easily get a lot of scam ads on YouTube among other distasteful or even harmful content. They don't care, they care about the money since the whole business revolves around advertising money. Without it they are kinda worthless.

this is a chromebook. on my old computer I could block ads, and for a little while it went on on this one. this will be my one and only chromebook. Next time, I buy a regular one, go through Bing and then install the adblockers! What a disaster it was when these things started to pop up ! One good thing - I started reading more again. Every bad thing resolves into good! At least substack is without ads I don't want to read your posts with naked women on the side.

Some people have been reporting success with uBlock Origin, though you will have to update regularly and disable YT related add-ons. Personally, I just rip the video stream and watch it offline at my convenience.

thanks ! it seems to work. It blocks some substacks too, but at least it warns be so I can un-block them. Youtube now without ads. Seems like my search site has no pop-ups either! Yay!

Try to intall brave browser. I think it is possible to install on chromeOS.

I got brave, but it does not help. Same thing. I tried another one, but that was not free, so I don't know if that would have done the trick. Brave does not do very well as search engine either. It is still on here, but I don't use it anymore
