Pennies on the dollar to purchasing it in tiny bottles, glad you brought it up. Ibuprofin does not like your body, but lots of folks don't understand the damage it does. You need those enzyme pathways it damages!! Skullcap is also a nice garden plant and the seeds are available as well, I think this year I will also plant it, so thanks for the reminder John Paul...best

Fungal infections are tricky to deal with, especially ones that take "residence", and yes makes could be to blame for more invasive infections, but not for >persistent< ones, that is Covid.

I was told 500mg is the therapeutic dose for Berberine before each meal. Fasting on water will do the same thing. Start with 12h then 16h then 24h and for up to 3 days. Honestly it is not a problem.
Even if you take Berberine but if you eat too much = zero therapeutic effect. Hence water fast is the most important. Also I was told to just eat 1 meal per day (or 2 if I have to) The Best therapeutic effect is achieved with 1 meal per day. No snacking. Take some salt + water (with ACV) to get over hunger waves. Some Tryptophan + Melatonin for sleep. That works for me and my friends perfectly.
Thank you Bibi! regarding water fast(i have done 16hrs or even 20 hrs ) ,do you mean we can take berberine during water fast also? or its as effective as taking berberine( sorry for my inability to understand ).. usually i took berberine during food or after (and each time it served the purpose, which was not for controlling sugar level)..but i can try before meal too, not an issue! ..yes i started tryptophan+ melatonin for sleep too and it has worked wonderfully, but some days i am taking GABA (500-700mg as powder) + some niacin (500mg or so) and it is also very nice combo, even only GABA+mel also gives me good sleep.,..from my layman s understanding i feel( after lot of reading and self thinking ,about when i got covid and those days and the days before i got infected) i came to conclusion that if we protect our brain with whatever possible supplements (like gaba,glycine,taurine, magnesium,niacin,tryptophan,melatonin,rhodiola,chinese skullcap,ashwagandha, L theanine, lions mane etc many others ) and we stay in good mood and keep our mind under control, we will not get infected , somehow this covid stuff enters us when we are mentally vulnerable...i dont know if this is of any importance ,but since i started this program , i am in much better shape and feel confidence level always good even when meeting sick people....just shared my thought,even though it has no reasoning...Thanks and i wish everyone good health !

Since both of us are rotating the similar supplements ( have you noticed increased dreaming with Lyon Mane? I have ...but not each time), I am assuming you exercise and eat protein +fat with low carb...hence not necessary to take Berberine with fasting. Honestly you can do 2 day or 3 day with no problem. Increase salt intake during water fast + Mg supplement and you'll be fine. If you have "cravings" its just angziety (or you are not eating right for your metabolic type ) so in the context of getting over fasting "hunger waves"talk to loved ones, make love or go for a fast walk, run, sauna , do anything that CHANGES YOUR RHYTHM = that will make hunger go away.

(I dont know your blood work etc but potentially Berberine might bring your sugar down but then it might not...depends on your blood work, metabolic type, body composition, exercise you do etc). So short answer do water fast with water. Use salt, Mg, Apple cider or MCT or " CHANGE RHYTHM" Type of interventions if you CANT do just water fast. (MCT 1 tsp or TBS).

Apologies for my short reply ...firstly i was slightly emotional and not in a good frame of mind when i replied ,secondly(for the first reason) i went for a small vacation in the nature ,which was refreshing and i did lot of walking and loads of sunlight and grounding!
regarding lions mane and dreaming ,yes i do have weird dreams at times on those nights!
i have done 20 hrs fasting a few days (did not try it during trip) but not more, added berberine just before meal some days /weekly, started taking himalayan pink rock salt intake daily, magnesium anyway i take around 400-500mg magnesium glycinate and 2-3 times i use the magnesium chloride spray(self made) on my forearm and back of head,neck etc... and as you have recommended i will get that DOPA Mucina whenever possible(usually i try DMG when depressed)..

Supplements will fasten the recovery and rebound your immunity at a much faster rate than other people, so long-term the body doesn't taxed as much.

Why not just go ketogenic? Do u believe metformin or Berberine have other effects, probably gut microbiome that are helpful?
