When I studied biotechnology, there was nothing happening no jobs no grants.. but it was said that it is a degree of the future and they give 10 years for it to be the most important job... i graduated in 2008... and here we are.. Trump might have delayed some plans lol

Good discussion points thanks. In reading over this order with some lawyers the problems are immense. Only those impressed favorably with the World Economic Forum’s recommended policies and the world’s response to the Covid debacle could be in favor. It is pure hubris.

They left the language so broad they could classify whatever they want as "bio-whatever" they intend.

At least in the 90's we pretended to have a social discussion about this. Now it is just, hey useless eaters, behold, this is what we are doing, and we are at the leading edge of evolution, which means we can do and will do whatever we want and it will be perfect because we are perfect.

Being raised with critical thinking skills and an understanding of human folly is apparently not a prerequisite for a biology degree:

"develop genetic engineering technologies to be able to write circuitry for cells and ~Predictably~ program biology"

..... "Predictably program biology" ..... maybe we can start doing this after we figure out e.g. how paracetamol works
