Soooooo… what exactly would happen if all or most of the satellites in use stopped working? No more starlink or gps ir satellite tv. Maybe some loss of weather prediction. But would it be all bad?

First world grinds to a halt. Food gets scarce within days, shortages happen within one week.

Preppers rejoice.

People communicate in ways that don’t require satellite.. much of the internet is underground. So would it actually be that bad?

People yes, business don't. Especially anything that relies on GPS, and a lot of hardware in space is military too, so that opens up another can of worms.

Underground cables would be a easy second target. In fact many people are now predicting exactly that, undersea cables are easy pickings even for the average Joe believe or not.

I don't want to assume but perhaps you would be surprised by the level of incompetence among the very experts and people responsible for managing the conflict, especially the NATO adjacent crowd. To put it bluntly, they are morons.

But you are correct in every assessment you made, I have shared a few times how precarious the US position is in relation to its near-peers (China and Russia), a lot of the arms production of the US is completely centralized, dependent on literally single factories, or in the case of its private side, completely relying on China (Just google Raytheon CEO says china decoupling impossible).

Perhaps some of the political players do seek to undermine America, but for the most part from my experience, this is pure and sheer incompetence.

Kessler syndrome: so our 'hero' elon musk promise us to populate the universe. In the meantime he shoots up 4000 satellites and plan to go up to 12000 to exponentially increase the chance for kessler syndrome.

How do these mosquitoes work? Are they like mini vaccination insects? And if so how does Bill think he can control the effects? Wouldn’t using insects get out of control very quickly? Why use such a mechanism that has far too many uncontrollable variables?
