On Twitter, every once in a while I make threads, one of them is right here, Things Hidden Since series (currently at 3 parts, one day a fourth may come) in regards on how to mitigate SARS-CoV-2 damage, or minimize it.

This is another one of those, and far more important. Years ago, on my quest on how to fix my utterly destroyed gut, besides many many things I stumbled upon a marvelous find. When you talk peptides, most people will directly think of cutting edge, customized peptides with all sorts of effects. But not this one.

This one of the most natural compounds known to man, almost no side-effects, and when you research about it, it naturelly occurs inside you, in your gastric juice, on most mammals if not mistaken.

It’s name is BPC-157. BPCs tands for Body Protectice Compound 157. It’s a 15 long amino acid sequence. First discovered by Ivan Pavlov (yes, that Pavlov), it has decades of research behind it, with the last 3 decades being the ones where strides where made.

BPC 157 is a peptide chain that naturally occurs on your stomach acid, primally isolated from a dog's stomach acid. After sometime, from on our gastric juice. First thought to be just a antiulcer agent, it has broad healing on organs and tissue.

It can make osteogenesis (your broke grow again), it can heal tendons, muscle, your mucosa, your brain. You name, it probably can fix it. The only reason I am 100% after that CNS autoimmune shit sometime back is BPC, and some other shit, mainly BPC.

Most injuries get better after 2 weeks of use. Major specialists state that nothing they ever saw took more than 3 months to heal. 2 weeks of use every 4 months and you will always be in top condition (aka maintenance cycle). 250 MCG per dose.

Also doesn't matter if you inject it or drink it, body will send where it's need most. Don't like injection or dealing with reconstituting the powder ? You can buy the pills, but you lose half the potency that way. So your 250 MCG pill will net you 125.

The effect of pentadecapeptide BPC 157 on hippocampal ischemia/reperfusion injuries in rats

We focused on the, yet undescribed, therapy effect of the stable gastric pentadecapeptide BPC 157 in hippocampal ischemia/reperfusion injuries, after bilateral clamping of the common carotid arteries in rats. The background is the proven therapy effect of BPC 157 in ischemia/reperfusion injuries in different tissues. Furthermore, there is the subsequent oxidative stress counteraction, particularly when given during reperfusion. The recovering effect it has on occluded vessels, results with activation of the alternative pathways, bypassing the occlusion in deep vein thrombosis. Finally, the BPC 157 therapy benefits with its proposed role as a novel mediator of Roberts’ cytoprotection and bidirectional effects in the gut-brain axis.²

Given the mechanism which SARS-CoV-2 uses and the damage it follows after all degrees of infection, besides other, already mentioned in my Hidden Things posts, is one of the most beneficial, cost effective treatments you can use.

The list of positive, healing effects of BPC-157 are too big to list, and I don’t want to bother the reader, just make a short post and my point. I also prefer reader that do their own research and sometimes add to mine, effectively raising the bar to everyone involved =).

The Brain-gut Axis-where are we now and how can we Modulate these Connections?

A traumatic brain injury (TBI) initiates an inflammatory response with molecular cascades triggered by the presence of necrotic debris, including damaged myelin, hemorrhages and injured neuronal cells. Molecular cascades prominent in TBI-induced inflammation include the release of an excess of proinflammatory cytokines and angiogenic factors, the degradation of tight junctions (TJs), cytoskeletal rearrangements and leukocyte and protein extravasation promoted by increased expression of adhesion molecules. The brain-gut axis consists of a complex network involving neuroendocrine and immunological signaling pathways and bi-directional neural mechanisms. Importantly, modifying the gut microbiome alters this axis, and in turn may influence brain injury and neuroinflammatory processes. In recent years it has been demonstrated that the activity and composition of the gastrointestinal (GI) microbiome population influences the brain through all of above-mentioned pathways affecting homeostasis of the central nervous system (CNS). The GI microbiome is involved in the modulation of cellular and molecular processes which are fundamental to the progression of TBI-induced pathologies, including neuroinflammation, abnormal blood brain barrier (BBB) permeability, immune system responses, microglial activation, and mitochondrial dysfunction. It has been postulated that interaction between the brain and gut microbiome occurs mainly via the enteric nervous system and the vagus nerve through neuroactive compounds including serotonin or dopamine and activation by bacterial metabolites including endotoxin, neurotransmitters, neurotrophic factors, and cytokines. In recent years the multifactorial impact of selected immunomodulatory drugs on immune processes occurring in the CNS and involving the brain-gut axis has been under intensive investigation.⁴
