My sepsis originated with an upper UTI infection on my 57th birthday, 5 years ago. I was in the peak of mental, spiritual, and physical health, running 10ks, etc. I never had a flu, allergies or UTI or any illness that I can recall since becoming an adult. Therefore, I've never had any experience with illness. Although I took the full course of anti-biotics, I did not get completely better but did not worry as I thought it's part of the healing process. I was wrong. About two weeks after the last dose, I was struck with a very high fever and immediately asked someone to take me to MD. That's when we learned how bad things were, MD put me on CIPRO and monitored my blood for about 10 days. I wasn't getting better and she was alarmed (called me at night to discuss unimproved blood labs) and about to send me to a hematologist when I suddenly improved.
It was the single most ethereal experience I have had in my life. It wasn't just physical, it was mental (I knew I was not able to cognate) and spiritual (my 'awake' hours were spent reading the Bible and looking out over a canyon watching hawks, rabbits, etc).

10 yr child in our community died about 3 weeks ago. She woke up complaining her hip hurt, bad enough that she couldn't walk. Went to ER,... 4 hrs later she was dead. Drs. said it was sepsis caused by strep. Child had no symptoms of strep--no fever, sore throat earache etc. Mom is a nurse but this came out of the blue. so sad.
My son recently had it, its definitely a problem in australia right now, one of my clients whos a nurse mentioned hospitals are running sepsis screenings on most folks. 3wks after my son was treated we ended up back at hospital, they didn’t even check his vital signs before assuming he was septic again...he wasn’t.

If his state is sepsis related, meaning endotoxic tolerance it is "easily" fixable.
Higher dosage of aspirin for 1 week I shared the paper weeks ago. But everything is fixable even T cell exhaustion.
