It is clear by now SARS-CoV "frenzy" is coming to a end, and while I have "freedom" to write what I want for the most part, mostly my focus was (still is at a personal level) SARS-CoV-2.

Readers should give input on which direction to take this Substack. I still have a lot planned to write, and still a lot to write as an FYI.

My experience may be of interest to some: four weeks post onset of getting COVID, I had my blood drawn at LabCorp and tested for CRP and serum ferritin. The CRP was about 74 (should be under 3!) and the ferritin was 3½ times the upper limit of normal. Nine months later I re-tested, and my CRP was about 1, and the serum ferritin had returned to normal also. Such is the inflammatory potential of COVID!!! YIKES!

And that was in spite of super high serum vitamin D, and taking several grams per day of vitamin C, prior to and during the COVID infection.

There was a case study published reporting complete resolution of COVID in about two days with the use of 23mg oral zinc lozenges every two or three hours totalling about 200 mg over 24 hours! 200 mg! One would not want to keep that up very long, and zinc lozenges have been known to have a deleterious effect on taste buds, but perhaps over a longer period of exposure. Also, I am wondering how much of it was absorbed sublingually? Interesting, but many questions. However, zinc is a powerful antiviral for some types. If one had a very serious viral infection, it would be worth considering.

Thanks. can say Chinese skullcap seemed to help me. Seemed because as always these things are hard to feret out exactly. but WAY stronger than Quercetin

There are many mushrooms that work, I just decided to write this from basically my annotations and result with some Long COVID people (plus input of said friend). I find quercetin lacking most of the times and personally prefer Fisetin

Although this one quite pricey

Hi, in the high-dose stack you mention specifically Pyrodoxine (PN), and not (just any) B6. Is that an intentional preference of PN over other B6 forms?

Further, for C-Salts, would Sodium Ascorbate qualify as a C-Salt?

Lastly, about Quercetin, do you have an opinion on Quercetin Phytosome?

Yes most papers use Pyridoxine, specifically.

Somewhat similar. But doesn't qualify as C salts, if you can't find or have access to C salts, stick to liposomal.

No strong opinion, it price difference is minimal, buy it, if big stick to the quercetin most use.

For thiamine, the Benfotiamine is supposedly better absorbed.

Methylcobolamine is the superior form of B12.

And some people don't utilize regular folic acid well and do better with methylfolate.

Glutamine is fuel for cancer (besides glucose). With the cancer potential from these viruses, perhaps it should be approached with caution.

Evidence is contradictory most of the time. Yes it is cancer fuel, but it is also immune modulatory. Berberine/Metformin would theoretically offset sole of the risks.

Contextual, but caution is good always.

8 MG ZINC : what might have the antiviral effect been with 40 mg zinc, or 20 mg TID?

And likewise: if higher levels of the B vitamins, vitamin C, and carnitine had been used?

I think it would have reached statistical significance but at researchers can't just put a bunch of confounders using high dosages otherwise paper wouldn't get published.

Worth a try, but I would add either a mushroom or something that directly affects either the immune system, or the metabolism.
