i had mild asthma for 30 years till i went hard keto for 4 months, then it was gone, hasnt returned despite my not sticking to keto continuously. i still avoid omega 6 oils, grains. these inflammatory responses can be controlled/affected, is it epigenetics, did i switch a gene? or inflammation control by avoiding certain foods?
i just had the covid this week, lasted 2 days, hardly any symptoms just a low temp and fatigue but i was drinking liposomal vitamin c at a teaspoon every 2 hours on the 2nd day. if only others knew the power of high dosing this stuff
Ketones are know to modulate your immune system, and stop excessive inflammation, among many many other things, plus certain foods will shift your immune system, by modulating the gut micro biome, and wrong bacteria. It is inflammation control by a myriad of variables, yes.
High dose a lot of supplements is a sure way to deal with many afflictions, in fact even Medicine books state there are people that suffer from vitamin deficiency, and other dependency, for a multitude of reasons. In my opinion, under certain circumstances, and conditions SARS-CoV-2 might make one dependent in some vitamin or amino acid.
Asthma is often a Th2 dominant state, so keto + less of certain foods correct your response, other things go into play too.
I imagine going keto for full 4 months could starve off some unfavorable, sugar-dependent buggers ("wrong" bacteria, or fungi?) in the gut biome, which one might acquire e.g. in connection with antibiotic treatments. Whether there could be a connection with asthma, I don't know. But it's interesting that depriving your gut of carbs has an effect lasting beyond the diet - like something was killed off / replaced.
Most bacteria, and fungi are glucose driven, some modulate fatty acids, and very very few will actually use ketones. Like cancer, most are glucose hungry and go brrrrr under a carb heavy diet.
I'm wondering when I read these studies or reports about mild infection giving you long term problems. Are the authors looked at vaccinated or unvaccinated people? In the world most of the people took the jab so how can we know what is relevant as unvaccinated? Same with the reinfection report by NHS they say BA1/Delta previous infection protects less against BA2. But who we are talking about? Vaccinated English people with messed up immune system?
Just look at the methods, they will say if it is in vaccinated, unvaccinated, or cell from patients, cell from culture, etc. I have seen close to a few hundred people that got some sort of (real) damage after both BA. 1 and BA. 2, as I said many times, it is slowly chipping people (anyone) away, the jabbed are just going downhill much faster than the rest.
If you do not supplement a lot of stuff, it will overwhelm you sooner or later, the damage will pile up.
