Tomorrow or the day after, I may reproduce both of my AI-centered pieces here, with addedums. One is centered around an critique against AI regulation and the other on how politically motivated people almost blew up OpenAI.

The FTC is moving hard (because of the government) against anything related to AI, so broadly they may as well make math illegal.

(I have wrote I will "double post" when I judge the subject matter is of high importance, otherwise I don't do it)

We have had a big uptick in pediatric admissions in the US as well. It started in August, which is weird because they are calling it RSV, a virus that usually fills up peds units in November-February, not August. I figured they seeded it around early to increase demand for the new RSV vaccines and Beyfortus monoclonal antibody treatment for babies. Did they change the tests so they are always positive for RSV/flu? Is this a new disease from GoF research that they are calling RSV or is it plain old RSV?

Of course flu is starting up right on schedule, a few weeks after most folks got their flu shots. Once you see the corruption, you can never unsee it. I will never trust another word from the government “health” machine.

I think RSV shares a similar dynamic as influenza in respect to our microbiome, I think displacing Akkermansia will also affect how the body responds to RSV, since Akkermansia is responsible to modulating the immuen responses to respiratory viruses. I think it is just a byproduct rather than GoF, but we would need tests and research to be done, and once again, nobody is testing because "Omicron is mild bro", since nobody dying of pneumonia or cytokine storm with Omicron, or almost nobody to raise some eyes.

I also don't trust any of these people, the reason I do what I do.

They don't seem to compare the effect of soluble vs insoluble fiber - just "dietary" fiber. It would have been interesting as the former can feed the bacteria in the gut (even causing SIBO and leading to higher endotoxin load) while certain forms of the latter can act as a mild antibiotic and reduce endotoxin load...

It was forgotten, so when it came back and there was a "clear" trend countries started paying attention again.

Outbreaks and a handful of deaths still occur but not exactly "news worthy" for the media I guess.

Professor - a cautionary word about the dual edged sword of Nrf2... for prevention activation is good, but once oncogenesis starts it aids and abets said phenotypes. Alex, what is a tumor suppressor and an oncogene? As for your "not so mysterious" in adults and children on a global basis, the rest of that answer lies in... Mondo Cane. These late night meetings in dank, dimly lit parking structures are as inconvenient as the truths Mr. Mulder.

Indeed. Cancer is paradoxical at every turn, but to my argument, SARS2 depletes cystine at every step of the way, it is causing systemic antioxidant deficiency but subclinical. Given the preponderance of the vaccinated to respond to everything with a Th17 (which feed a lot of oncogenesis too) I just think antioxidantion should be a primary concern for most at least for now. But I fully understand where you are coming from.

From a intellectual perspective I truly hate cancer because everything contradicts everything else 😆

Frequent lurker here, because your information is so intriguing. (And how I ended up getting a bunch of people to try peptides - especially BPC.)

This one piqued my interest because I have an autistic son (with immune system impairment that led to PANDAS/PANS, which is still a mysterious condition, but if you lived in my house from 2018 to 2022, you know it’s a very, very real thing), and his pathogenic trigger appeared to be mycoplasma pneumonia. His numbers for it increased and increased and he never so much as showed a single standard symptom...it was all psychiatric. It got to the point where the doctor could warn me - when labs came back - to buckle up, because stuff was gonna get bad. He was never wrong.

This same kid probably had the original Covid before it was a thing - as he was super sick right before we even knew what Covid was, with all the classical symptoms. But then the inflammatory fallout introduced the worst flare of psychiatric behavior he had seen to date. It was dark. I’m still essentially trying to piece together all of this, and how these what should be respiratory viruses interact with an impaired immune system.

I’m really just kind of writing my thoughts out. But I appreciate your work. It’s helped me mine some ideas for helping my autistic sons in various ways.

At some point I had 15 PANDAS related papers opened here, but I lost the tabs and the world doesn't stop spinning. Even at that, there is a significant correlation between PANDAS, superantigens, HERVs and MIS-C/Kawasaki, with a touch of endotoxic/tolerance added to the complexity.

There must be a secondary trigger, activated by mycoplasma pneumoniae that we are all missing, which in turn kicks off his aggressive immune responses. Covid can kick off different non-linear interactions between pathogens which in turn can worsen any psychiatric issue, plus at every turn you will find that either SARS or secondary-anything else influence the Kynurenine Pathway, one of the largest contributors to many of these persistent dysfunctions.

We have a fantastic integrative physician who treated him with vitamins and supplements more than medicines, although he did both. The most notable thing that happened was when we used Nitazoxanide (only approved to treat giardia in the US) to pull my son out of a psychiatric spiral that was leading towards hospitalization and heavy psych meds. But an antiparasite med halted the spiral and he was able to climb out of the hole. I strongly suspect it acted in the mycoplasma in some fashion. But we still cannot quite figure that out, but given that anti-parasite meds are cheap in India, I have a toolkit of a variety of them at all times now.

I’ve written a comment above, but just maybe the book Super Gut by Dr William Davis could help your son. It involves making your own yoghurt ( different to usual homemade ones) with specific probiotic strains to treat different symptoms. I’m just getting started and had put off reading the book because it all sounded too daunting, but watching people on YouTube showing how they made it ( and what the pitfalls were) and seen a few interviews with Dr Davis have given me the confidence to give it a try.

I will look into it! I toyed with yogurt making a couple of years ago, but everything was on fire then and I didn’t have the emotional fortitude to follow through. I probably have the ability now, haha. I’ve also been closely following “microbiota transfer” therapy actively being studied for autistic people, and really hoping that plays out. But in the meantime, I need to do way more than I do for gut healing!

Eu avisei repetidas vezes que COVID era tanto o primeiro salvo. Como um problema de longo termo.

Segundo salvo tá vindo (a galope provavelmente).

Nenhuma das pessoas envolvidas vai pagar nada, nem.imposto nós bilhões de dólares que ganharam. Muito menos os cientistas envolvidos, com.seus milhões de dólares em lucro sobre propriedade intelectual.

E o mundo perdeu trilhões amigo, não bilhões 😢

Long COVID, or vaccine injury both have nervous system and especially gut issues, so there will be a significant overlap.

In the case of the aforementioned, I advise the supplementation of fibers because it can "scrape" our the virus sometimes.

In what context ? Arguably a lot of these enzymes over long periods could, theoretically cause excessive bleeding if you cut yours/some major accident. Give me the context and I will answer the best I can.

Regarding fibre in diets, I’m just reading Super Gut by Dr William Davis, which can be summarised down to eliminating SIBO/SIFO with the aid of a home made ‘yoghurt’ using very specific probiotic strains and using curcumin ( non absorbable) with some essential oils. Also then adding back fermented foods and prebiotic fibre. Using his yoghurt recipe you can multiply up the strength of any probiotic and treat specific health complaints with specific strains.

Yes and no, this something researchers are not attempting to tackle. Supplementing Akkermansia or any probiotics is good, the "problem" is, they never stick, if you supplements for a short while (assume 4 weeks), they will be gone in the next 4-6 weeks.

There are a lot of health benefits to supplementing Akkermansia, so it is mostly a cost-dependent thing. I assume (nobody bother to look), the levels come back to almost normal after 9-12 months, but in the meantime, you get "weird infections", the you here is general you, not you, you =).

Can innate immune system adjust its reaction to pathogens (obviously covid being the main question) after antibodies no longer exists from a previous infection?

Yes, "memory" cells will take care of any subsequent infection if it is the same thing or very similar.

If it is a distinct variant (in the case of COVID or flu), the body "updates" its immunity but the previous infection "memory" is enough to avoid severe disease.

Antibodies are momentarily, T cells are forever 😆

Get infected > new T cells are generated > fight infection> T cells become "differentiated" > become effector T cells these are the cells that kill stuff > infection clears > effector T cells die but a small percentage stays and become Memory T cells, that can stick around for long

B cells (the ones that produce antibody) can also generate memory B cells.

These cells are the first to respond, super fast to the same "pathogen". The special forces of the immune system 😎

Once you have the memory cells, they kill the virus fast enough to there isn't meaningful amounts for you to get sick.

Moriarty, I read somewhere that when people go through their 60s, some or all of their innate immune system reduces in strength or fails. It seems to take (at least in part) the form of losing Memory cells (Ts and Bs). So people get sick with stuff they used to be immune to. For example, shingles outbreaks (not related to Covid) or tetanus infections. Is that thesis accurate, and if so, is there anything older folks can do to minimize that loss or recover innate strength after it is lost?
