Thank you for the wishes of speed recovery and for a good year, I do hope most people adopt your perspective to stay in good spirits in 2023 regardless, and many many need emotional resilience from here onwards.

May your 2023 be blessed friend.

Impossible here. I slowly, and painfully hiked/walked back, but improvised some wooden helping tools before.

Ouch... sounds like your hiking got little too much excitement ;) feel better soon and hoping for NO surgery ❤️❤️🙏

There is always some sort of excitement on them, at least this time wasn't a thunderstorm, in a open field, where I am the high point and the lightning looks for me (December 2021 lol).

I don't think I will need surgery, just rest, ice/hot treatment and some exercises in due time. Just pain really, for a while.

Best wishes for speedy, needleless recovery.

Getting back home must have been awfully painful.

It was painful, a good 2 km and something of trail until I got there, lots of hills.

I'm so sorry about your knee, I hope it gets better ASAP. Did you manage to get your mom some limes after the fall? Really beautiful pictures btw.

Happy New Year John Paul. 🥳🎉🥂💜💙💚💛🧡❤️ Wishing you many blessings in 2023.

Before, no way I would be able to climb any hill here after that fall. Wish you the same in 2023.

Thank you, I hope so too. I don't think it is just inflammation, but I hope it is. We will see how I recover as days go by.

I refuse to go to doctors, especially this time of the year.

Your attached tweet made me laugh, at least you’re trusty backpack tried to save you. One day you’ll need to hike in Australia given your ability to deal with danger like a champ! 😂

I hope one day I can go to Australia and go hunting and doing all the cool stuff too !

Yes, the backpack and the HydroFlask saved my back, which was my biggest concern, sometimes when I hurt the back, there are months of pain and other nuisances.

I'm not sure what country you are in, but it is very beautiful. South America?

I hope you knee heals quickly and that you have good health in 2023. Happy New Year John Paul! (I'm in Ontario Canada with freezing rain, snow, rain, freezing rain, repeat etc.... the usual crappy weather this time of year.)

Happy New Year, John Paul! I love the meme. I’m so sorry you hurt your knee. But...it sure was an adventure. Those lines were my mom’s favorites too. 💗

Sadly it is a global effort, from multiple fronts and vested interests and rather a big business (Intelligence firms are now all registering as information/cyber warfare outfits, which is coded language for this exact type of "work).

Breaking the emotional based response and behavior is hard work, but must be done, hopefully covering this in the very near future in many forms might help people do it.
