Which is better, a trend analysis before reading or after it ? I feel like most readers would miss the text bellow a mountain of links and images. We will see.
Trend analysis of these images, and taking into account the older long form posts is pretty simple, it’s setting a dark, scarcity tone for 2022. Energy costs, both electricity and fuel will remain high and can have multiple spikes during the year.
The fertilizer trend is set in stone, yields will be affected of whatever farmers plant, they won’t plant some of their usual crops, there will be less feed for animals, there therefore adding more fuel to the already raging fire that is current inflationary and cascade trend.
Another damning trend will be all the rare earth that no country besides China is securing, they will squeeze the world out of raw materials for tech. Kinda of a “You can have Taiwan you won’t be able to produce shit anyway” statement. Plus higher prices, buy whatever you need for leisure or work right now as a hedge for an ever-increasing inflation.
Maritime problems and same logistical nightmare cemented. The Siberia one will be important later one ;).

Surging Fertilizer Costs Push Farmers to Shift Planting Plans, Raise Prices
Higher prices for commodities like corn would further inflate prices cereal, cooking oil, beef and other meat 1
Fertilizer prices have more than doubled over the past year, frustrating U.S. farmers, who now are adjusting spring planting plans and warning about the potential for higher food prices.
A global shortage of the chemical ingredients used to make fertilizer, widely applied to soil to boost corn and wheat yields, has sent fertilizer prices soaring. Escalating costs are leading some farmers to shift acres toward less fertilizer-intensive crops, like soybeans, while others said they plan to cut back on their overall fertilizer use, potentially reducing future harvests.
Siberia’s wildfires are bigger than all the world’s other blazes combined
Russia is fighting more than 190 forest fires in Siberia that have closed airports and roads, forced widespread evacuations and sent a pall of smoke across the North Pole. But it has abandoned dozens more fires covering thousands of square miles, with no effort to fight them.
