Anyone with half a brain will have been taking C & D supplements as a bare minimum these past two years.

That's probably a few hundred thousand of us.

So when will C and D be illegal? : (

Believe it or not they have been trying to make it illegal for quite a while now, all supplements, like MOMinator commented.

If not that, outright disruption of supply.

That’s a legit worry. Senator Dick Durbin (Illinois) is trying to pass a bill requiring mandatory registration of supplements.

Go to savesupplements.com.

It will take you to Alliance For Natural Health (anh-usa.org). Specifically, an action page where you can learn about the details and easily submit a letter to your Congressmen/women.

They’ve quite sneakily inserted it into another bill (or something along those lines, I don’t know how it will work, exactly) that will allow it to be passed without much public comment, or knowledge.

Seems obvious to me that our government works for Pharma, not us.

Some EU people would like to put maximum doses e.g. per vit-D3 tablet into law, based on currently still active recommendations here that are outdated like 2 decades or so. Since the price seems to mostly stem from the fixed costs making tablets (they cost roughly the same whether you buy 1000 or 5000 IU from same brand), it could mean that only wealthy people will be able to afford that, buying & popping N x the usual number of tables per time unit.

They recently had stories in the news about someone hospitalized with vit-D overdose. I'm not sure it's the start of badmouthing campaign. At least they mentioned that the guy took 3 times 50'000 IU / day, that recommendations vary per country, and that that is way too much by any of them. Let's see whether that says so.

Unbelievable!! But not unexpected

I just looked and saw that my usual D3/K2 product has 1 month delivery time (amazon says), used to get that within 3 days. Interesting.

Wow, try iherbs or swansons.

I can vouch for swanson 👍🏼

i use liposomal liquid C, i get a sore throat or the sniffles i start straight away, a teaspoon every 2h, usually im back to normal in 12-18h.

things to note: dont just stop taking it or you will rebound, taper off over several days.

D3 takes up to 2 weeks to be converted and utilised by the body

Expand full comment

Ray, the rebound is real. I've stopped lots of colds in their tracks but let up too soon because I felt better. I tell people keep it up for at least 3 days after you feel better

I’ve seen similar stories regarding L-Lysine every 3 hours. Perhaps both would be a good combo?

it might help in reducing inflammation and some healing but its not going to do much for the virus itself. it wont hurt to supplement especially if you dont eat a lot of meat or fish but i doubt every 3h would be helpful or wise. its main help seems to be in suppressing the herpes viruses but this comes at the cost of blocking arginine

Whete do you get Lipo C? Is it a liquid? Thank you kindly.

Expand full comment

amazon, i prefer the liquid to capsules as some of the brands are not real liposomal

Thank you. What Brand do you recommend? Much appreciated for your time and response.

Perhaps Vit C doesn't work so well in the multiple-jabbed though. I recall Fauci telling the nation he takes a gram or 2 of vitamin C every day yet he got Covid and rebound Paxlo-Covid too. My elderly stroke-disabled mom in a nursing home is not jabbed for Covid and hasn't had flu shots for years. She takes at least a gram per day plus D3 and melatonin every night and has managed to stay Covid-free there for nearly 30 months while all around her the multiple-jabbed and annual flu-jabbed staff, visitors and residents continue to test positive and get sick (and even die despite four doses).

Vitamin C will not work by itself on the multiple jabbed, they need a whole myriad of other supplements to remedy what the vaccines and breakthrough infections caused, to much taxation on their bodies.

Melatonin is borderline obligatory plus D3 too. These 3 in an unvaccinated person will do wonder.

Look into Serrapeptase, it helps with people prone to clotting (I am, I had more than one, but I am not disable by them, mostly because of my age, probably supplements helped a lot).

I am confused by the dosing. Are you suggesting taking 125mg Vitamin C 4X a day for a total of 500mg/day , or 500mg Vitamin C 4X a day for a total of 2000mg/day? Appreciate you!

I will revise the text, but it is 500 mg of Vitamin C 4 times a day, ending up at 2000 mg/day yes.

125 mg 4x per day is too little hehe.

I told my friends in 2020 to drink tonic with lemon/lime juice and fresh ginger with a pinch of cayenne. I stand by that :)

Unrelated, if someone is vaxxed and getting chronic 'colds', anyone know what type of blood panel to run, or the most important blood markers to include?

Immune panel. Lymphocytes count, Th1, Th2, Th17 is helpful too. CD4/CD8 levels. Some others are not common though and I still need to write the reasoning behind it.

"much of the aspects some people push and I call BS (amyloid)"

This has been a point of disagreement for a while now, with a couple of people who're respectable enough who are keeping my eye on it. Keeping my brain on it is a difficult thing though. Difficult for common folk and I'm sure my brain injury doesn't help. One thing that WOULD help is having a function on substack that allows us to search for keywords within writers' stacks.

Expand full comment

There is. It is somewhat hidden. Go to te main page of any author, scroll down a little, there will be the words New, Community or Archive and at the end, very small a little magnifying glass, click on that, and you will be able to search for keywords in that Substack.

I didn’t write much about it but I have some things about the brain. Amyloid will happen but not how these people say, and especially not at the level they say.

For the most part, just take tons of antioxidants when you get infected. What type of brain injury you have ? There are many things that can be helpful.

That's very helpful, thanks a lot! My injury is a chemical injury, perhaps best explained here:
