Good stuff.

Re: "What is happening in Sri Lanka right now will come to pass in other countries, as I said multiple times, first in poorer countries, then in “richer” ones."

RUS has stated it won't deliver gas to UK.

Try imagining the speed of chaos in un-resilient sociteties.

- China Covid situation & reaction remains a mistery for me.

At first I would have been mortified. Now I'm really just resigned to it. I'm actually laughing because we decided to destroy the world. What else is there to do. Laugh or cry. Let's say 5 years ago I'd be called a crazy conspiracy theorist for keeping a few months extra food. Now, no... we destroyed the world.

Of course, it not not just Russia's fault. Nor even just because of "the war between Russia and the Ukraine". What all those headlines are fudging over is that it is the sanctions on Russia that have triggered all this (or rather, accelerated it to the point of crisis).

They don't seem to be wanting to take any real constructive action to stop these trends, either: both Germany and the US have refused to allow farmers to plant the land allocated for conservation purposes.
