Moriarty, I agree C19 was a likely leak. However, surrounding and following events appear to indicate that a release within a few months was planned anyway. The conference beforehand (Oct 2019) was an interesting coincidence, but I'm talking about how the Democrats here in the US reacted. Nancy Pelosi and a number of others spent a lot of effort in Jan and Feb 2020 to get people to have big celebratory events and parades (allowing for more spread), then in March, the media Narrative got going that C19 was really dangerous and we need to lock down. Meanwhile, on the day the first C19-infected person flew into Washington State, The Democrats went hammer and tongs against Trump with a sudden move out of the House where he had been impeached (and where the impeachment was, strangely, held up for a couple weeks) and taken to the Senate.

One of my takes on this series of intriguing events (and others) led me to believe that the Democrats were caught off guard with something they were planning for but which happened sooner than they expected. The series of steps that occurred started very suddenly but then went into a multi-month sequence of events that played out in a way that seemed like an existing plan put into action earlier than expected.

My personal opinion is that there was a plan and a sequence of events that were designed to begin with an infection event in July of 2020 and an impeachment and trial of Trump in September and October, before the November vote. The leak made it a global problem, but the plan, if any, appears to have been US-centric and not coincidentally meant to occur in a critical election year.

Do you see any reason to look at the series of events that occurred after the leak and from your perspective, see subsequent events as an existing plan prematurely triggered but then followed as it was supposed to be played out? Or am I being unnecessarily paranoid?

Those of us who know the NLM, remember. And also the finding by Dayou of Nipah virus made me think of the Winnipeg connection.

But why now? It has been 4 years. Trudeau called an election in 2021 to stop the investigation. Now it comes out all at once?

"For months, it rejected demands from a special Commons committee on Canada-China relations to release the documents, as well as from the House of Commons itself and ultimately from then Commons speaker Anthony Rota. Instead, the Trudeau government went to court to keep the documents secret until dropping the case after the issue became moot, because of the 2021 federal election, which dissolved Parliament." https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/goldstein-trudeau-tried-to-hide-massive-security-failure-at-winnipeg-biolab
