I don’t know about you guys, but I do believe in some type of Omens. Recently one came in my feed, and I decided to post some here, a couple of those were sent to me by my followers on Twitter.
On March 6, The Sessho-seki, a famous rock in Nasu, Japan that was said to have imprisoned the evil nine-tailed fox demoness Tamamo-no-Mae, was found broken in half. After nearly 1,000 years, the demon vixen is presumably once again on the loose.
Pages from a book talking about this “myth”, from March, I don’t remember the actual user, I just saved these.
(Click on the double pages and they should open in another tab at full resolution).
A little over a month after such an incident, the following occurred.
Fox Bites 9 People in Washington D.C. Including a Congressman From California
Chinese port-city Zhoushan’s sky turns blood-red, triggering panic
Lights turning the sky crimson red were coming from fishing boat harvesting Pacific saury fishes
There are probably a lot more omens, but these were the most ominous to my instincts/gut. I always trust my gut, after much suffering.
Since those are blood skies in a port city, we should brace for supply chain chaos.
(Zhoushan’s Bureau of Meteorology responded to these speculations, saying that there was nothing supernatural in the incident. He said the fog was very high and the clouds were at a low altitude. This is a phenomenon caused by the refraction of light. According to state media CCTV, a local fishing company has confirmed that the light was refracted by their fishing boats. The deputy manager of the company said that this red light was coming from our fishing boats. We have to turn these on while fishing. When these lights are lit, they go into the sky after hitting the water. But due to fog, it looked red. This is very common in coastal areas.)
I am a man of science and logic, but I will hold to my superstition on this one, sorry lol.
Feel free to post omens in the comment section too. Who knows what I missed.
John, the Tamamo-no-Mae release, which occurred on March 6th, was the 5th here, my 66th birthday. I'm hoping it wasn't at 6:06 AM/PM but I don't know how we would check?
As far as the Red sky thing, well, it is Red China, right? I saw a "Red Mist" one time, at the old Braselton track in the rain on two wheels, it was when the mechanic said "That was some of the best riding I have ever seen, right up to the point where you crashed."
I thought the goddess was evil, but it manifested in DC and bit people?
