BA.5 booster gives you poor neutralization !
And the mysterious case of excess deaths continues
Well, I do rather avoid shorter posts, but I am guilty as charged of indulging in dunking on how futile and useless the mRNA vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 are, to say the least.
Per the continuously published evidence, we once again find ourselves faced with what common sense told anyone a long time ago, especially anyone who keeps an eye on the “vaccine efficacy”.
Low neutralization of SARS-CoV-2 Omicron BA.2.75.2, BQ.1.1, and XBB.1 by 4 doses of parental mRNA vaccine or a BA.5-bivalent booster
The newly emerged SARS-CoV-2 Omicron BQ.1.1, XBB.1, and other sublineages have accumulated additional spike mutations that may affect vaccine effectiveness. Here we report neutralizing activities of three human serum panels collected from individuals 1-3 months after dose 4 of parental mRNA vaccine (post-dose-4), 1 month after a BA.5-bivalent-booster (BA.bivalent-booster), or 1 month after a BA.5-bivalent-booster with previous SARS-CoV-2 infection (BA.5-bivalent-booster-infection). Post-dose-4 sera neutralized USA-WA1/2020, BA.5, BF.7, BA.4.6, BA.2.75.2, BQ.1.1, and XBB.1 SARS-CoV-2 with geometric mean titers (GMTs) of 1533, 95, 69, 62, 26, 22, and 15, respectively; BA.5-bivalent-booster sera improved the GMTs to 3620, 298, 305, 183, 98, 73, and 35; BA.5-bivalent-booster-infection sera further increased the GMTs to 5776, 1558,1223, 744, 367, 267, and 103. Thus, although BA.5-bivalent-booster elicits better neutralization than parental vaccine, it does not produce robust neutralization against the newly emerged Omicron BA.2.75.2, BQ.1.1, and XBB.1. Previous infection enhances the magnitude and breadth of BA.5-bivalent-booster-elicited neutralization.
These results indicate that (i) 4 doses of parental mRNA vaccine do not elicit robust neutralization against the newly emerged Omicron sublineages and (ii) the rank of neutralization evasion is in the order of BA.4/5 < BF.7 ≤ BA.4.6 < BA.2.75.2 ≤ BQ.1.1 < XBB.1.
The data indicate that (i) BA.5-bivalent-booster elicits significantly higher neutralizing titers against the recently emerged Omicron sublineages than 4 doses of parental vaccine and (ii) despite this improvement, the neutralization against BA.2.75.2 (98), BQ.1.1 (73), and XBB.1 (35) remain low after BA.5-bivalent-booster.
The results suggest that (i) previous infection significantly increases the magnitude and breadth of neutralization for BA.5- bivalent-booster and (ii) among the tested Omicron sublineages, XBB.1 exhibits the highest level of immune evasion. Collectively, our neutralization results support three conclusions. First, the BA.5-bivalent booster elicits better neutralization against the newly emerged Omicron sublineages than the parental mRNA vaccine. Second, individuals with SARS-CoV-2 infection history develop higher and broader neutralization against the ongoing Omicron sublineages after the BA.5-bivalent booster. Third, among tested Omicron sublineages, BA.2.75.2, BQ.1.1, and XBB.1 exhibit the greatest evasion against vaccine-elicited neutralization, suggesting the potential of these new sublineages to dethrone BA.5 as the dominant lineage in circulation.
Per what one would expect given the current molecular dynamics at play, and that has been at play since the start of mass vaccination while targeting the worst possible target in the virus.
In this paper, authors tested 4 doses with the original vaccine and the neutralization against the new variants coming to dominate infection numbers globally. As one could expect, 4 doses of the original vaccine didn't offer good neutralization. Followed by testing the new bivalent booster, and while there was an increase in neutralization, it remained low and subpar.
The next test is usually the one I start laughing at when I read papers like this, they found that previous infection, per published evidence in the last 8 months, broadens the overall “quality” of antibodies. And similar to a paper that states the same early on with Omicron variants and what I call “booster fest”, I once again ask.
What use does someone with a natural infection have for the mRNA vaccine or a “bivalent booster”, if the natural infection gives someone better, superior protection against the disease than the vaccines ever could ? They sound like antibody salesmen. And by now it is clear you need T cells to properly deal with and clean the infection. I wish they measured IgG4…
The new booster is useless at best, probably dangerous, and most likely fatal for some. I would also like to remind the reader that BA. 5 Spike is a bad vaccine target.
Thankfully bivalent booster uptake is very poor, but it doesn’t take much effort or time to track down people dying from different causes (often with some cardiovascular symptoms among the main symptoms) on social media.

Very few mainstream media outlets are covering the continuous excess death increase among all age brackets, Telegraph is one of the few in the UK. I have covered this before, so sometimes I like to remind the reader that this is still going on. Some funerary services argue this is a trend that might last 5 years.

Unbelievable. We have entered a post truth society. I just posted a new entry on my blog with a link to the latest Dr John Cambell video where he talks about excess deaths, but as my post states, this dude is the world tippy-toe champion. In this video ( I think this one linked on the one directly before that ) he talks about searching the BBC for any articles about the excess deaths and there is nothing.
This is absolutely insane..... The media is not even covering this and in the USA it is probably a 9/11 death event happening every week or few days and that was good enough reason to start a fake 20yr war.... I just don´t know what to do anymore. If I told some friends that there is excess deaths, they would think I was retarded as they didn´t see anything about it on BBC.

And although non neutralizing against variants, vaccinal BA.5 spike has a very high binding affinity for ACE2, which leads to sustained depletion of ang1-7, which can lead to atherosclerosis, myocardial fibrosis, hypertrophy, arrhythmia and so on, a future Substack is pending.
